Château des Vierres (Beaujolais, France)
The Château des Vierres was built in 1865, and has remained in the Denavit family ever since. François Denavit who is the fifth generation presides over the things.
Jean-Marc Branche and his wife are the wine growers and look after a truly picturesque and charming parcel of Gamay vines that overlook the Ardières Valley. Vinification takes place at the Quincié co-operative and distribution is handled by the merchant wing of Georges Duboeuf.
Beaujolais Villages AOC 2014 by Château des Vierres Deep colour. This wine has a lovely deep ruby colour. Silky, full-bodied and smooth, with pleasant flavours. Fruity, with great distinction and a very harmonious finish.
