Asprinio Bianco or Asprinio for short is a white grape variety grown in Campania. It is known for its high acidity and ability to produce sparkling wines. Generally they are simple, uncomplicated wines.
Asprinio Bianco is a rather unruly grape variety. It grows more or less as it wishes and often tremendously high off the ground. There is not a huge amount of excitement around the variety although Tenuta Adolfo Spada based in Gallucio are more interested than most.
