Malvasia Bianca di Candia is part of the large family of Malvasia varieties but notably used in Lazio's Frascati Superiore DOCG.

Until very recently, producers in Lazio preferred to use Malvasia Bianca di Candia rather than the region's more traditional Malvasia del Lazio because of its propensity to produce quantity. Things are changing a little bit though and the grape is gradually falling out of favour.
