Birichino

Birichino is a boutique, Santa Cruz–based California winery founded in 2008 by Alex Krause and John Locke, known for making expressive, terroir-driven wines from historic, family-owned vineyards with minimal intervention winemaking. Drawing on old-vines and maritime-influenced sites across the Central Coast, they highlight lesser-known varietals and nuanced site expression in wines.
