Domaine Michel Lafarge

Michel Lafarge was one of the great figures of modern Burgundy, and his passing in 2020 at the age of 91 was mourned across the wine world. Now run by his son Frédéric and granddaughter Clothilde, the domaine is a benchmark estate in Volnay, farmed biodynamically on some of the region’s finest sites. Traditional, sensitive winemaking with minimal new oak produces wines of exceptional finesse and longevity.
