Bablino is a small and lesser-known MGA located in the commune of Verduno, tucked into the gentle hills that characterise the northern edge of the Barolo zone. With cooler exposures and marl-rich soils, it tends to produce wines that are light on their feet, with lifted aromatics, fine texture, and moderate concentration. Rarely bottled as a single-vineyard wine, Bablino contributes finesse and delicacy when included in blends.
