Borzone

Borzone is a small and rarely mentioned MGA in the commune of Novello, situated in a quieter part of the Barolo zone with gentle slopes and predominantly marl-limestone soils. Its cooler position and modest elevation contribute to wines that are subtle, with delicate fruit, fine tannins, and a restrained, almost understated structure. Borzone is seldom bottled on its own but adds nuance and elegance when blended with fruit from neighbouring sites.
