Bricco Manzoni is a lesser-known MGA situated in the commune of Monforte d’Alba, on elevated terrain with compact clay-limestone soils and a predominantly southern exposure. The site benefits from strong diurnal shifts and well-drained slopes, producing wines that are structured and intense, with dark fruit, firm tannins, and mineral depth. Though not widely seen as a single-vineyard bottling, Bricco Manzoni reflects Monforte’s hallmark power and ageing potential.
