Bricco San Giovanni is a little-known MGA located in the commune of Monforte d’Alba, positioned on elevated slopes with compact clay-limestone soils and south to southwest exposure. The site produces structured, firmly built wines with dark fruit, pronounced tannins, and a mineral-driven core. While rarely seen as a single-vineyard bottling, Bricco San Giovanni reflects the power and longevity typical of Monforte’s more serious hillside sites.
