Cannubi Valletta is a small MGA situated on the western side of the Cannubi ridge, just above the village of Barolo. The soils here are slightly more compact, with a higher clay content compared to the sandier core of Cannubi, contributing to wines with greater structure and depth. Barolo from Cannubi Valletta tends to balance the elegance typical of the Cannubi hill with firmer tannins and a darker fruit profile, offering a slightly more muscular interpretation of this iconic slope.
