Colombaro is a lesser-known MGA located in the commune of Barolo, just northwest of the village centre, with gently sloping terrain and clay-limestone soils. The site benefits from good sun exposure and produces wines that are soft, approachable, and aromatic, with red fruit, floral notes, and supple tannins. Colombaro is not often bottled as a single cru but contributes roundness and charm to blends, aligning with the accessible style typical of Barolo’s lower hillsides.
