Coste di Rose is a small MGA in the commune of Barolo, situated on an east-facing slope just southeast of the village, with distinctive sandy soils mixed with marl. This lighter soil composition results in elegant, perfumed wines with fine tannins, lifted red fruit, and floral notes, often showing accessibility in youth. While less powerful than some of Barolo’s more structured sites, Coste di Rose offers clarity, finesse, and a graceful expression of the appellation.
