Galina is a small and little-known MGA in the commune of Novello, situated on gently rolling hills with marl and limestone-rich soils and relatively cool exposures. The site produces delicate, light-bodied wines with fresh red fruit, floral notes, and soft tannins, reflecting the restrained and elegant style typical of Novello. Galina is rarely bottled on its own and is more commonly used to bring finesse and aromatic lift to blended Barolo.
