Hatschbourg

Hatschbourg is a historic Grand Cru vineyard located between the villages of Hattstatt and Voegtlinshoffen, with southeast-facing slopes and deep marl-limestone soils. The site is known for producing generous, full-bodied wines, particularly from Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris, which here show ripe orchard fruit, exotic spice, and a rounded, textured palate. Riesling from Hatschbourg tends to be richer in style, often developing complexity and honeyed notes with age while maintaining freshness and balance.
