La Corte is a little-known MGA located in the commune of Barolo, situated on modestly sloping terrain with marl and clay-limestone soils. With relatively warm exposures and lower elevation, the site produces wines that are soft, approachable, and gently structured, showing red fruit, floral notes, and mild tannins. Rarely bottled as a single-vineyard wine, La Corte contributes roundness and aromatic lift to blends, reflecting the more accessible style typical of Barolo’s lower hillsides.
