Riva Rocca is a small and relatively obscure MGA in the commune of Verduno, situated on gentle slopes with light marl-limestone soils and cooler exposures. The site produces elegant, aromatic wines marked by red berry fruit, floral lift, and fine-grained tannins, in line with Verduno’s delicate and graceful style. While not widely bottled on its own, Riva Rocca contributes freshness and finesse to blended Barolo.
