San Giacomo is a small and relatively lesser-known MGA in the commune of La Morra, located on gently sloping hills with marl and clay-limestone soils and favourable southern exposures. The site produces elegant, medium-bodied Barolo with bright red fruit, floral notes, and supple tannins, reflecting the graceful and aromatic character typical of La Morra. While not often bottled as a single cru, San Giacomo contributes finesse and approachability to blends.
