San Lorenzo is a small MGA located just outside the village of Verduno, positioned on gently sloping terrain with marl and limestone-rich soils and cooler exposures. The site produces refined, aromatic Barolo with red berry fruit, floral lift, and fine-grained tannins, in keeping with Verduno’s elegant and understated style. Though not as widely known as Verduno’s more celebrated sites, San Lorenzo contributes freshness and finesse, and occasionally appears as a delicate, early-drinking single-vineyard expression.
