San Lorenzo di Verduno is a small and distinctive MGA located in the commune of Verduno, positioned on gentle, northeast-facing slopes with light, marl-limestone soils. The site produces fragrant, elegant Barolo with red fruit, floral notes, bright acidity, and finely textured tannins, hallmarks of Verduno’s refined style. Though not as widely known as Monvigliero, San Lorenzo di Verduno offers a similarly graceful and approachable expression, with the capacity to age while remaining accessible in its youth.
