Solanotto is a small and lesser-known MGA in the commune of Novello, situated on gently sloping terrain with marl-limestone soils and cooler exposures. The site produces light to medium-bodied Barolo with fresh acidity, subtle red fruit, and fine tannins. Rarely bottled on its own, Solanotto contributes finesse and aromatic delicacy to blends, reflecting Novello’s graceful style.
