Also known as: Trebbiano di Lugana
Turbiana is a white grape variety grown almost exclusively in the Lugana DOC on the southern edge of Lake Garda in northern Italy. Long mistaken for a type of Trebbiano, it is now understood to be genetically close to Verdicchio, which explains its vibrant acidity, textural finesse, and capacity to age. Turbiana produces wines with delicate floral and citrus aromas, subtle herbal notes, and a mineral edge, offering both freshness in youth and complexity with time in bottle.
