History
The company was founded in the early 1900s by Ernesto Saffirio, Josetta's father. Since the 1970s, Josetta, an agronomist, began to take care of the family vineyards and in 1985 the first Barolo was released.

Winemaking
The Barolo wines are produced in large botti. They are matured further in cement tanks before bottling.
