I've been in Serbia this week, on the border with Kosovo. Shuffling through the snow at five and a half thousand feet is not exactly the most obvious wine industry destination, but dear reader, I'll go anywhere.

Sustainable tourism was on the agenda as winemakers and industry professionals from all over the Balkans gathered on Mount Kopaonik for Winterfest, a new three day seminar covering food, wine and ski.
